Abstract In view of the problems such as single pathway and limited class hours of classroom teaching skills training of normal students in chemical education, the viewpoint of the penetrative cultivation in the elective courses of chemical education majors was proposed. Through theoretical analysis and practical exploration, it was found that this training mode could not only improve the training effect, but also improve the teaching quality of some elective courses.
