Abstract Based on experiment teaching experiences of AP (Advanced Placement) chemistry and our national general high school chemistry, this paper compared the curriculum standards of these two curricula, analyzed their similarities and differences by taking the specific experiment "identifying unknown compounds by qualitative analysis" as an example, and provided some references for the front-line chemistry teachers and domestic high school chemistry teaching in the future.
