Abstract This paper introduced a simple method to take and use sodium, and designed a microscale experiment of sodium burning in chlorine using microscale experiment apparatus for preparing gas, which mainly included the operation methods and skills to prepare and collect chlorine, make sodium burn in chlorine and collect the off-gas, and the key of experiment and safety cautions.
