Based on high school chemistry knowledge such as direction of chemical reaction and organic functional groups, this paper introduced the transesterification reaction catalyzed by calcium oxide to produce biodiesel which mainly contained fatty acid methyl ester. It was especially focused on the catalytic mechanism and some developments of the application research, in order to develop students' modern chemistry thinking in senior high school and broaden their horizons.

Based on the perspective of instructional behavior, using the CPUP model theory and the instrument of assessing the effectiveness of primitive system in chemistry classroom teaching, this study analyzed 24 ordinary lessons which were taught by 12 male teachers and 12 female teachers. We found that the main differences of teaching chemistry between male and female teachers were: the performance of female teachers were significantly better than male teachers in the dimension of rationality of teaching time (RTT) and match degree (MD); whereas, the performance of male teachers were significantly better than female teachers in the dimension of the quality of teaching behavior chain (QTBC) and the quality of using resource and technology (QUR&T); However, there were no significant differences on the total score and the dimension of rationality of primitive content (RPrC).

Mainstream science textbook for American high school is chemistry: concepts and applications which used core concepts as the theme and set rich learning situations. This paper took the situations of "water and solution" in this textbook as an example, discussed the types, functions and presentations of the situations, and provided four suggestions for the situation setting of the domestic chemistry textbooks.

This paper defined the concept of the coverage rate of note taking, and detected the correlations between the chemical class notes and the academic performance, note-taking habits and the academic performance, synthetic variables and the academic performance. And according to the results of the test, this study put forward some teaching suggestions to help students to do good class notes in order to improve the learning ability.

Through investigation, this paper showed that students' answers to optional items of college entrance examination of chemistry was related to four factors: chemistry elective courses that school opened, difficulty of test items, time needed to answer questions and students' learning ability. It was suggested that school should open enough elective courses and allow students to show their own selectivity, so as to meet the idea of multi-module with optional courses of new curriculum and the core concept of "all for each student's development".

The knowledge about student was an important component in the PCK (pedagogical content knowledge) and necessary to implement effective teaching. This study investigated senior high school chemistry teachers' knowledge about students in redox reaction teaching. The t test about independent sample, single factor variance method and monadic linear regression analysis method had been used to deal with the data. The results showed that teachers' gender, teaching age, educational background had significant influence on the knowledge about students; the dimensions of learning basis, process and result had different level of effects on the knowledge about students. And some suggestions in view of the conclusion had been proposed.

This paper developed chemical affection scale for senior high school students through literature and questionnaire survey, the factors were analyzed and named by exploratory factor analysis with SPSS 21.0 software, and the internal structures of scale were tested by confirmatory factor analysis with AMOS 21 software. Internal consistency, Rulon split half reliability and correlation test showed that the scale had high reliability. The correlation coefficient between item and index, structural equation model fitting analysis illustrated that it had high validity. Through large-scale testing, effective and reasonable results showed that the scale could be used as an assessment tool to evaluate the chemical affection of senior high school students.

To explore the effect of different silver coordination compounds on silver mirror reaction, this paper used aqueous ammonia, ethylenediamine, potassium rhodanate, and methylamine as ligands, and used the stability constants of different silver coordination compounds to study the silver mirror reaction under different temperatures, compared the formation time of silver mirror and its quality. The results indicated that silver coordination compound with ethylenediamine as ligand had higher stability constant and stronger alkaline, and high quality silver mirror could form quickly at room temperature, thus it was suitable for classroom teaching of silver mirror reaction experiment.

This paper designed a microscale experiment for synthesis of ammonia using double ball tube, by which prepared and purified syngas, synthesized and separated ammonia, and collected residual gas. This paper pointed out two errors in exercises of Chemistry 2 textbook(People's Education Press), the concentration of copper sulphate solution at normal temperature and pressure was impossible to achieve 2 mol/L, it was not possible to give students a tube of nitrogen dioxide. Experiment showed that a tube of nitrogen dioxide was upside down in the water, when the liquid level was basically stable, the water level rose to far more than 2/3 tube.

This paper introduced curriculum assessment requirements, compiling structures and knowledge points involved in the review guide book for British Salters advanced chemistry textbook Chemical Storylines (AS); based on this, three editorial characteristics were summarized: (1) the compilation of textbook was open; (2) it had cross connection with other relevant textbooks; (3) multi-types and multi-levels of its exercise. Finally, some enlightenments were obtained.
