Abstract This paper introduced the application of special subject review based on element concept in organic chemistry teaching in higher vocational education. The teaching process included five parts such as problems, introduction, discussion, summary and sublimation of special subject. The results showed that the effect was good, and it could make students establish chemical concepts and effectively improve their chemical literacy.
