Abstract This paper summarized and discussed issues in the practice and exploration on full-English teaching of postgraduates' professional courses "Principles of Catalysis II". Student-centered teaching mode was developed in terms of construction of course contents, building of teaching team and the improvement of teaching methods. On the basis of our own experiences and reflections, a "virtual parallel class" idea was proposed to improve the effectiveness of the full-English teaching.
