Abstract This paper mainly introduced the application of physical chemistry in the design of pharmaceutical dosage form to optimize the pharmacokinetic parameters, the proper selection of pharmaceutical excipients and pharmaceutical dried technology to show the important guide of the basic theories of physical chemistry in pharmaceutics. The aim of this study was to motivate the learning interests of students major in pharmaceutics and promote teaching quality of physical chemistry by integrating the physical chemistry teaching with the pharmaceutical specialty knowledge.
