Abstract To improve the cultivating quality of undergraduate in the school of pharmacy, Ningxia medical university, a new organic and medicinal chemistry course group was carried out, and the problem-based learning (PBL) was applied to it. The discovery, design, synthesis and pharmacological evaluation of Conmana and the CFDA's approval process were integrated. PBL could help students to have a better understanding of pharmacy, arise the enthusiasm of students' desire for knowledge, enhance students' autonomous learning abilities, and train the cultivation of the team cooperation.
