Abstract Under the guidance of the core thought of the Chemistry Curriculum Standard of Compulsory Education for the Schools for the Blind, this paper compared it with the Chemistry Curriculum Standard of Compulsory Education of the Full-time System(2011 Edition) which was originally designed for general public schools,interpreted the theoretical basis, design principle and amendment of the Chemistry Curriculum Standard of Compulsory Education for the Schools for the Blind with the object of education and teaching characteristics of the school for the blind.
