Abstract The oxoacid is an important content of inorganic chemistry course. The structures and acidity of oxoacids such as sulfurous acid, boric acid, hypophosphorous acid, phosphorous acid, bromic acid, bromous acid, and carbonic acid were discussed in this paper. The investigation indicates:(1) Two isomers exist in SO2 solution. (2)The Lewis acid and Brönsted acid forms of boric acid under different conditions were found. (3)Hypophosphorous acid, phosphorous acid, bromic acid, and bromous acid tend to isomerize. (4)Carbonic acid has some dynamic stability under certain conditions.
