Abstract Adding sodium carbonate solution in the mixture of hydrochloric acid and calcium chloride, when calcium carbonate precipitation appears, does the pH of the mixture remain basically the same? Is the pH at 7? This paper discussed the change of the pH in mixed solution of hydrochloric acid and calcium chloride by dropping sodium carbonate solution by digital experiment, and then analyzed the appearance of the platform segment and the pH at this segment by experimental study and theoretical analysis.
