Abstract In order to reflect the teaching effect of the flipped classroom through the optimization of the teaching design of the "Food Chemistry" course, based on combining the online learning model and the offline classroom teaching mode. The offline teaching and online learning are organically integrated, thus, the classroom incentives and process assessment programs were established. Through the comparison and questionnaire surveys before and after the reform, students' initiative, enthusiasm, and participation in online and offline classrooms have been significantly improved, and teaching reforms have achieved the desired results.
