Abstract Applying hand-held pH sensor, this paper measured the t-pH curve when NaOH solution titrated FeSO4, used the origin 9.0 to analyze the experimental data and discussed the effect of air on precipitation pH of Fe2+; by measuring and analyzing the pH curve of FeSO4 solution titrating NaOH, it was found that the final pH of solution was influenced by the degree of hydrolysis of metal ions; by measuring and analyzing the pH curve of NaOH titrating mixed solution of FeCl3 and FeSO4, it was found that the mutual influence of Fe3+ and Fe2+ made the change of precipitation pH; by measuring and analyzing the pH curve of FeCl3 and FeSO4 mixed solution titrating NaOH, it was verified that the degree of hydrolysis of Fe2+ and Fe3+ were different, and the existence conditions of Fe(OH)3 and Fe(OH)2 were also different.
