Abstract This paper took the experimental content supported the knowledge of factors affecting the rate of chemical reaction in 4 editions of textbooks as the research object, made a systematic comparison between the design of experiment and the presentation of content. The results showed that the experiments designed in domestic textbooks were more exploratory, and the cultivation of students' ability was more comprehensive. The experiments designed in American textbooks paid more attention to attract students' attention and stimulate students' interest in learning. Finally, this paper comprehensively analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of different editions of textbooks, and put forward some suggestions for practical teaching.
