Abstract By combing the project design concept, project hierarchy, project structure, design content, evaluation method and practice effect of chemical engineering principles, this paper expounds the specific methods of teaching reform and innovation of chemical engineering principles project design with the goal of training high-quality talents with engineering practice ability and innovation ability under the guidance of engineering project design. Based on the OBE concept and CDIO curriculum system construction, the practical teaching curriculum reform, which emphasizes the cultivation of talent characteristics and the optimization of curriculum structure, has deepened the understanding of the project design of chemical engineering principles.
