Abstract In the teaching of Analytical Chemistry, in order to achieve the goal of education, the ideological and political elements are fully explored and combined with the teaching content. By introducing the method of mind mapping, a bridge between ideological and political elements and teaching content would be built, by which students can not only grasp the whole knowledge quickly, but also improve their ideological moral qualities. This paper evaluates the teaching effects and finds the existing problems by analyzing students’ performance, which can provide certain reference points for the organic combination of ideological and political education and undergraduate chemistry teaching.
