Abstract In this paper, we restructured the curriculum standards with innovative application capabilities and job requirements, updating teaching methods and models,andsystematically explored the usage of flipped classroom and PBL teaching model on pharmaceutical analysis from designing, processing, evaluation and effect. It aims to form a diversified and multilayered new teaching system of pharmaceutical analysis, transform the teaching model from “focusing on teaching” to “focusing on self-learning”, lead the students turning “negative” into “positive” learning, train students' self-learning ability, enhance team cooperation ability and skills to analyze and solve problems, and inspire students' innovative application capacity.
