Investigation and Reflection on Status of Chemical Humanities of Senior High School Students

Abstract This study combined with practical investigation, on the basis of summarizing the connotation of humanistic quality, proposed the three-dimensional model of chemical humanistic quality, namely “knowledge” “faith” and “action”. “Knowledge” includes the humanistic knowledge and value inheritance, “faith” includes the consciousness of innovation and the spirit of inquiry, and “action” includes the healthy life and social responsibility. This paper designed research tools based on the model, investigated 272 high school students in Beijing ordinary high school and interviewed 68 students, found that the cultivation of students' humanities accomplishment, especially the knowledge of humanities, the cultivation of innovative consciousness, social responsibility, to be strengthened. Based on this, the corresponding teaching countermeasures were proposed.
