Using Flow Map structure analysis method, this paper mainly focused on the measurement and comparison of the content of “ionic reaction” in three senior high school chemistry textbooks including new textbook of people's education press, new textbook of Shandong science and technology press and old textbook of people's education press. It was found that the new textbooks changed in the introduction, engagement and organization of core concepts. The new textbook of people's education press presented the knowledge structure system of “ionic reaction” with richer level, more reasonable organization and fuller meaning and paid more attention to the application of situational reasoning and interpretive representation strategy, creating reasonable situations, containing problems in situations and forming concepts in the process of solving problems. The new textbook of Shandong science and technology press focused on the triple representation of macro-micro-symbol, highlighting the representation strategy of comparison, and showing students the multiple paths and dimensions to grasp the concept connotation and application.

Show Abstract ( 48 )
Crosscutting concept in science curriculum embodies the idea of integration. It's an important topic to promote understanding of crosscutting concepts in divided curriculum. As a crosscutting concept, energy is considered as the capacity to do work at both macro and micro worlds. Cognitive frameworks are able to deepen students' understanding of energy concept. Three cognitive frameworks (four characteristics of energy, tracing energy flow, a new framework based on the theory of cognitive development) are introduced in this paper. A good cognitive framework should combine discipline and cognition. Teachers are suggested to create more daily living contexts, to design meaningful tasks of variety types. Teachers should guide students to construct appropriate cognitive frameworks, and meanwhile pay close attention to stages and directions of understanding of energy.

The cognitive diagnosis of “redox reactions” in senior high school was carried out by using Rule Space Model as a cognitive diagnostic analysis tool. It is found that the six cognitive attributes of “redox reactions” in senior high school are divided reasonably, the classification proportion of reaction mode is 97.40%, and the knowledge state of the subjects can be clustered into 13 kinds, of which the proportion of 6 kinds of knowledge state is higher. There are differences in students' mastery of different attributes, in which the mastery rate of attributes C1 and C2 is more than 97%, while the mastery rate of attribute C6 (calculation of redox reactions) is only 31.47%, which needs to be remedied. The results of cognitive diagnosis, which can be classified and personalized, are helpful for teachers to carry out scientific and reasonable remedial teaching.

In order to improve students' ability in experimental teaching, Brain Hand et al. developed a scientific writing tool for experimental teaching, which was Science Writing Heuristic(SWH) based on scientific language and classroom inquiry. Through “problem, method, observation, opinion, evidence, judgment, change”, SWH makes the scientific content connect language activities to stimulate students to participate in the argument and understand the science. In the experimental teaching, the application of SWH has been influenced by a variety of factors. SWH's research “from frame construction to specific implementation” and “from theory to practice” will inspire the development of other teaching or learning tools.

According to the research on the development of the concept of iodine, Gay-Lussac first proposed the concept of iodine in 1813, but at that time the concept of iodine and elemental iodine was not clearly defined. Until Dalton's atomism, which gave iodine a new meaning, it was the first time that iodine atoms and iodine elements were combined. In the 1940 s, the discovery of iodine isotope perfected the concept of iodine element and formed the concept of modern iodine element. In chemistry education, students must realize that the development history of iodine concept is the development history of element concept, as well as the development history of scientific thought and scientific method.
