Abstract Based on the STSE education concept, this paper contacted the real situation in Kuitun area of Xinjiang, designed a comprehensive experiment, and made students explore the fluoride ion in high-fluorine groundwater by determining the subject, formulating the plan, implementing the plan and summarizing the subject, so that students could master the process of scientific inquiry and methods to enhance the ability to develop integrated projects using chemistry knowledge and experimental methods.
