Abstract Taking the development history of chemical power supply as a clue, the core literacy of evidence reasoning and model recognition of students is improved through the experimental research activities of single-liquid, double-liquid primary batteries and ion exchange membrane batteries. The core literacy of macro-identification and micro-analysis is embodied in the observation and discussion. In the process of exploring the development of chemical power, cultivates students’ core literacy of scientific attitude and social responsibility.
