Synthesis of Novel F-N-P Cyclotriphosphazene Flame Retardant and Application in Flame Retardant Polycarbonate: National Undergraduate Innovative Experiment

Abstract In order to improve the undergraduate education quality, the College of Chemistry of Nankai University has carried out the undergraduate innovative comprehensive experiment of “National Innovation Project” to guide students to actively participate in scientific research innovation practice teaching, and obtain satisfactory education outcome. Here we report the synthesis of new F-N-P cyclotriphosphazene flame retardant and its application in flame retardant polycarbonate, which is one of the undergraduate organic chemistry comprehensive experiment carrying out in college of chemistry in Nankai University. In the meantime, the specific implementation process and teaching effect of the experiment are introduced.
