Abstract Addition type phosphazene flame retardant has the advantages of good thermal stability, good weather resistance, low smoke, low toxicity, low added amount and low moisture absorption. It has been widely used in the field of flame retardant polymer materials. This paper reviews the research progress of added phosphazene flame retardants in polymer materials in recent years, and analyzes the research status of phosphazene flame retardant using in polymer materials. It also provides reference for the design of novel phosphazene flame retardants.
