Abstract This paper summarizes the main research progress of synthesis methods of H2O2 in recent years, and focuses on the new methods developed to synthesize H2O2 under more mild reaction conditions, including their basic principles, advantages, and limitations. It is recommended that this part of the content be updated and supplemented in the teaching materials of basic inorganic chemistry, which can not only enrich the teaching content of element chemistry, broaden the cognitive scope of undergraduates, and enhance their environmental awareness, but also play a role in stimulating the scientific exploration of students and improving their innovative thinking and ability.
