Abstract 2022 marks the 70th anniversary of the discipline of chemistry at Jilin University. Analytical chemistry, as an important branch, was founded in 1952. This paper reviews the history and achievements of analytical chemistry at Jilin University. Generations of analytical chemists have always adhered to the scientific spirit of “dedication, innovation, truth-seeking, collaboration”, and have cultivated a large number of outstanding talents for the country. We would like to dedicate this article to the alumni and friends who have contributed to the development of analytical chemistry at Jilin University.
