Abstract Through modeling practice activities, the historical process of scientists’ development of the periodic table of elements is reproduced, and the thinking and methods of scientists’ exploration process are revealed. Integrate the knowledge of periodic table and nuclides in the model construction and understanding, and understand the establishment of periodic table from the scientific nature.
