Abstract Academic conferences and peer review are important means for the academic community to conduct academic communication and mutual evaluation. Taking the application in the postgraduate course of nanochemistry as an example, the methods of quasi-academic conference and peer review in the teaching implementation process (including the basic idea of the implementation, the basic schedule of implementation and the knowledge preparation for implementation), teaching implementation requirements and implementation effects were analyzed. The “academic meeting+peer review” approach greatly increases the sense of ritual of the seminar, fully mobilizes the students' potential and enthusiasm for participation, enhances the initiative of learning, and achieves a better learning effect.
