Study on the Real Effect of Laboratory Safety Education Among First-Year Undergraduates

Abstract In order to investigate the real effect of the online and offline safety education, the safety test is conducted among the first-year undergraduates in School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, School of Environmental Science and Safety Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering and School of Material Science and Engineering, Tianjin University of Technology. The results demonstrated the effectiveness of the online and offline safety education mode. The deficiency lies in the safety knowledge about emergency disposal. Therefore, in the following safety education, the content and mode of online and offline safety education need further optimized. And safety education for all staff and the whole process should be comprehensively promoted.
