Abstract Taking the identification and transformation of Fe3+ and Fe2+ as an example, this paper introduces in detail the selection of paper and pencil and reagent concentrations, painting pattern design, micro-lesson application and effect analysis of painting experiments, and also carries out some chemical reactions of “iron and its compounds”. The painting experiment highlights the color beauty of the chemical experimental phenomenon, stimulates the students’ enthusiasm for learning to a certain extent, and is an innovative experimental method worth trying.
