Abstract As the core course of chemical engineering and technology specialty, principles of chemical engineering bridge the gap from theory to engineering and from foundation to specialty. It plays an important role in cultivating new engineering talents with engineering viewpoint, practical skills and innovation ability. How to integrate the professional theoretical knowledge and practical ability, so that the two complement each other, is the key to teaching. Through questionnaire surveys of students and teaching practice, this paper proposes some feasible teaching reform measures in order to achieve all-round training of students.
