Abstract The application of artificial intelligence (AI) in active molecule discovery and drug screening has become increasingly in-depth, innovating the traditional way of discovering natural drugs, reconstructing the pattern of drug discovery and design. This requires talents to be proficient in the basic knowledge of natural medicinal chemistry, have the ability to analyze problems across multiple disciplines, cultivate and establish logical thinking that keeps pace with the times. To meet the development requirements of the AI era, natural medicinal chemistry teaching needs to build a teaching system for AI to participate in natural drug discovery, provide intuitive teaching for AI to participate in natural drug discovery, select excellent online teaching resources to guide students to learn independently, and cultivate students' thinking ability in AI's participation in natural drug discovery.
