Design and Teaching of the Teaching Practice Ability Learning Progression of Chemistry Normal College Students

Abstract The Professional Competence Standards for Teachers of Normal College Students in Secondary Education (Trial) clearly defines four competence requirements,including “teaching practical ability”, which provides the basis for the training of normal university students. This study refined the structural framework of teaching practice ability of chemistry normal university students, which including three core elements: professional knowledge cognition ability, teaching design ability and teaching implementation ability. Based on the structural framework of teaching practice ability of chemistry normal university students and related research of learning progression, the model of teaching practical ability learning progression of chemistry normal university students is constructed. Meanwhile, this paper explores teaching design and implementation strategy based on teaching practice ability learning progression of chemistry normal college students.
