Abstract Based on the teaching design for the elements on the famous chemists in the chemistry history, it is an important and indispensable ideological and political teaching step in the chemistry curriculum. However, due to the difference between Chinese and foreign language, there are some special cases in the translation about name, such as the same abbreviation of personal name, which is easy to cause confusion and affect to accurately teach and study. In this paper, taking the chemists of “Fischer” with the same abbreviation name as an example, we summarize the nine chemists in the chemistry history, who have made important contributions to the development of chemistry, and explore their lives, academic achievements and contributions, and clarify the characteristic of different chemists, and then provide the useful history resource to correctly apply for curriculum education.
