Abstract Taking aromatic heterocyclic compounds as an example, this paper discusses the exploration and practice of the“dual-driven 5L”blended teaching mode in organic chemistry for pharmaceutical majors. Before class, teachers guide students to actively learn through tasks and problems, emphasizing self-study and group cooperation.During class, with the assistance of teachers' elaborations and team-based exploration, difficulties are solved.Meanwhile problem-oriented approaches and case analysis methods are used to deepen students' understanding and promote the application of knowledge. After class, students identify and rectify their weaknesses, while teachers adopt diversified evaluation methods to motivate students further.Online, refined and hierarchical tasks and questions are designed to drive students' self-study and mutual learning.Offline, through problem-based guidance and case analysis, students are driven to actively participate in classroom learning with self-discipline.These measures constructs a closed-loop teaching system encompassing“pre-class self-study,group mutual learning, intensive classroom learning,post-class supplementary learning”,which effectively stimulates students' interests in learning. Thus teaching quality and learning effects are improved, and students' overall qualities and abilities are comprehensively enhanced, laying a solid foundation for their future pharmaceutical practice.
