Abstract In order to improve the reaction experiment of ferrous powder and water vapor and find the best experimental program to achieve efficient classroom teaching, this paper compared water-absorbing materials, evaluated the experiment results, and optimized the design to obtain the best experimental program on the basis of other literatures: Using the crystal mud as the water-absorbing material to provide water vapor, and adding the water vapor condensation device.
