Abstract  Taking the school swimming pool disinfection plan as the starting point and the main task, the task is divided into sub tasks and transformed into chemical problems by students. In the study of sodium hypochlorite as the effective component of “84” disinfectant, two-dimensional valence-category diagram of the chlorine containing substances is preliminarily constructed from the perspective of valence and substance class, so that students can have a picture to follow when learning element compounds in the future.
