Abstract Using “preparation of acetaldehyde from ethanol” as a teaching medium, this paper comprehensively utilized modular knowledge such as chemical bond polarity, α-H reaction activity, chemical reaction rate and limit with students, and constructed an understanding model from the basic principles of textbooks to the development and changes of industrial production practice, in order to enhance the level of scientific understanding.
