Abstract The laws of thermodynamics are essential for addressing the energy,direction and limit of chemical reactions and physical processes.This paper creates an application scenario of “exercise” for thermodynamics laws.We use different solutions to solve one exercise,and summarize the calculation method of ΔH,ΔG and ΔS at different temperature,the entropy, Gibbs free energy and chemical potential criterions and their applicable conditions,the thermodynamic basic equations,Maxwell relations and the expression of chemical potential.These summarizations enable the students to understand and master these important knowledge points and their interrelation.At the same time,theexercise-solving method can cultivate students with open,independent and multi-faceted thinking ability.
