Abstract  Organometallic compounds are important reagents in organic synthesis. As an interdisciplinary field between inorganic chemistry and organic chemistry, metal organic chemistry has experienced rapid development over the past century since its inception. From organozinc to organomagnesium, organolithium, and then to organoaluminium and transition metal organic compounds, researchers have continuously made new progress through inheritance and exploration. Related research has won several Nobel Prizes, and the application of organometallic compounds is widespread in various fields.
