Abstract Under the STEAM concept, traditional Chinese crafts and chemistry are integrated,and practical project are designedwith ancient traditional makeup as the main focus.The project mainly includes the practical operation stage and the art integration stage.In the practical operation stage,the students cooperated in the production of soap,lip grease and other products,and in the art integration stage,the studentsfocused on the ancient beauty culture of traditional Chinese culture,optimized and improved on the basis of ancient prescriptions,and launched a joint museum product.The program aims to improve students’ advanced thinking ability incomprehensiveapplication of knowledge,which can give students a better understanding of the great wisdom of the Chinese people from ancient times to the present day,thus stimulating students’ creative potential,providing them with opportunities to develop artistic literacy,and laying a talent foundation for the future of scientific and technological innovation.
