Abstract This article introduces the reform initiatives and practical explorations undertaken by Harbin Institute of Technology in the development of Engineering University Chemistry teaching materials.It outlines the evolution from traditional textbooks,which primarily serve as carriers of fundamental knowledge,to multi-dimensional and multi-tiered teaching resources integrating information technology.The focus is on the innovation of content and format,as well as the compilation approach and structural layout aimed at fostering knowledge acquisition,skill development,and comprehensive competency cultivation.By constructing diverse and systematic digital resources,the initiative seeks to effectively drive textbook innovation,facilitate the transformation of talent cultivation models,and better meet the requirements for training high-level engineering professionals in the new era.
