Abstract To meet the needs of scientific research,topical cases are combined into the quantum chemistry course for postgraduate students with investigations and practical explorations.Corresponding course discussion sessions are designed around topics such as spectroscopic characterization,reaction mechanisms,surface adsorption and machine screening.According to outcome-based education,course learning,practical applications,and simulated research progress are integrated to improve the comprehensive quality of graduate students and theoretical depth for scientific research.
