Abstract To cultivate high-quality professionals with innovative thinking and practical abilities, the polymer teaching team at Jilin University, leveraging the national first-class discipline and major construction, has introduced cutting-edge research achievements into experimental teaching, establishing an integrated teaching mode between polymer chemistry experiments and polymer physics experiments.Taking the reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer(RAFT) polymerization experiment as an example, this paper elaborates in detail on the specific implementation of this integrated experimental teaching mode.Practice has shown that the implementation of this teaching mode broadens students’ academic horizons, enhances their scientific literacy and comprehensive analytical abilities, stimulates their learning interests and innovative thinking, provides valuable insights for the reform of polymer experiment teaching, and offers new perspectives for the efficient management of undergraduate laboratories.
