Abstract Two methods for adjusting extraction liquid volume in Soxhlet apparatus are suggested. One method is laying a multi-level cylindrical glass frame in extracting vessel; another is producing some knobs on the inner wall of extracting vessel. The aim of adjusting extraction liquid volume is achieved by changing the number of glass blocks in two modified Soxhlet apparatuses.
