Abstract This article discussed the reform of experiment teaching for applied chemistry specialty and students' research ability training. Results showed that changing teaching ideas, selecting experimental contents carefully, adopting independent learning, introducing teachers' scientific research and building comprehensive experiment platform could effectively improve students' innovative ability and scientific research ability.
