Abstract  In the teaching of halogenated hydrocarbons, based on exploring students' misconception, this study took experimental inquiry of students under the guidance of teachers, to develop senior high school students' understanding of core concepts of organic chemical properties. This paper mainly introduced the analysis of the teaching contents, core concepts, students' learning status, teaching goal, teaching process and evaluation of teaching effect and so on.
