This paper introduces the principle of seawater desalination and two desalination methods:multistage flash and reverse osmosis, and gives a review on the research and technical application of seawater desalination in our country.

More and more attention has been paid to the research, development and application of functional oligosaccharides as bifidus factors. At present, it has been proved that oligosaccharides with special healthy function include fructo-oligosaccharides, iso-malto oligosaccharides, xylo-oligosaccharides, soybean oligosaccharides and galacto-oligosaccharides. This paper introduces the chemical composition, special property, preparation methods and application of several important oligosaccharides.

This paper discusses that unit teaching is the basic teaching process to implement the threedimensional objectives of new chemical curriculum, and expounds on the meanings of unit, choice and construction of teaching unit, and design of unit teaching of chemistry and its significance.
