The increasingly serious energy crisis and environmental pollution, making the development of clean and renewable sources of energy has become an important issue all over the world. With renewable and good environmental Protection effects, hydrogen energy is the most development potential energy carrier and is recognized as the ideal energy for human in the future. However, hydrogen storage is one of the difficulties of developing hydrogen energy technology. This paper introduces the features of various hydrogen storage materials and the progress in the research of main hydrogen storage materials in recent years, and gives the developing direction of hydrogen storage materials.
