Microemulsion has been paid more and more attention to and applied in biotechnology, artificial blood vessel, enzyme immobilization, energy science, nanometer material, dope,medicine, food-stuff, petroleum, ore dressing and environment etc. The theoretical research, composition ,preparation method , properties and application of microemulsion are introduced in this paper. Microemulsion technology has good developing prospect.

Ultraweak bioluminescence is a kind of spontaneous luminescence phenomena which results from growth and metabolism and exists widely in organism. This paper introduces the possible mechanism and detection method of ultra-weak bioluminescence and gives a review about its application in biomedicine, traditional Chinese medicine, environment and agriculture.
