Chemistry and Non-deadly Weapons

QIU Guosu
Chinese Journal of Chemical Education. 2005, 26 (7): 5-6.
Full Text: PDF (916KB) ( 41 )
Show Abstract ( 83 )
Non-deadly weapon is developing into a kind of important materiel. At present, the non-deadly weapons are usually those that can carry out special military or non military purposes though can not cause death or mass death of people, can not cause serious destruction of facilities, and destroy environment to little extent. These non-deadly weapons have wide application prospect in high-tech local war and some special anti-terror actions or peacekeeping operations.

Chemical Oscillation and Biological Self-organization Process

SHEN Qin
Chinese Journal of Chemical Education. 2005, 26 (7): 10-11,36.
Full Text: PDF (2235KB) ( 46 )
Show Abstract ( 72 )
The education of "self-conversation" emphasizes learners' functions of main body and initiative, which conforms to the ideas of new curriculum and the theory of constructivism. To implement the education of "self-conversation", teachers must pay attention to arousing learners' consciousness of "self-conversation" and fulfill the task by means of "self-knowing conversation " before learning, "generation conversation" while learning, and "reconsideration conversation" after learning.
